Salwa Amélie
I am a cognitive scientist turned user researcher.
I've dedicated my career to understanding how humans think, learn, and interact with technology.
With over a decade of experience leading large-scale research initiatives, I've delivered insights that boosted revenue and expanded user bases at major tech companies. My work has always centered on one core principle: understanding people is the key to building better technology. ​​

As a scientist, my research involved using statistical modeling to decompose and quantify cognitive processes. This work sparked a curiosity about how cognitive models can be leveraged to support the design and training of AI systems.  ​At Twitter, I led research that brought user needs to the forefront of algorithmic development, collaborating closely with machine learning engineers to support the creation of user-centric technologies.​ I'm driven by a love for ambitious projects and the people who bring them to life. I also like video games, well-fitted statistical models, plants, and building relationships that help me grow and learn.

Josh Mantovani
I’m a data-driven developer with deep expertise in building data warehouses that deliver actionable insights. My past work also includes developing LLMs for organizations like the United Nations and designing cutting-edge systems such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and self-optimizing pipelines. ​
I help organizations transform raw data into structured, scalable systems for effective performance tracking, benchmarking, and strategic decision-making. From startups to enterprise companies, I've successfully guided teams in identifying key metrics and setting up robust infrastructure that drives impact. Outside of tech, you’ll find me riding into the mountains on my motorcycle, snowboarding, training in Jiu Jitsu, or spending time with my dogs.
